Welcome, and thank you for visiting. I’m dedicated to preserving the past along with the historical narratives of long ago. Drawing on extensive archival experience, I serve as curator of a local historical society and contribute to others as well. Beyond my academic passion for history and research, my collection of historical literature reflects my special interests in European Medieval history, Colonial American history, and the history of 19th-century Louisiana and Mississippi.

Other interests of mine include reading, embroidery, traveling, and Southern cooking. Originally from Mississippi, I now live in the charming countryside of Litchfield County, Connecticut, where I serve as curator for a local historical society and continue my genealogical research.
